Check out this awesome lady, Jodie Perryman who made her own funeral announcements. But that's not what made me what to shine a spotlight on her.

It's what she made.


Down to the last detail her announcement is perfect. Her card was very tasteful but her humor around death inspired me to make my own very tawdry morticians card.



How I'd Like To Be Buried

And since we're on the subject of funerals, I'd hate for my family to spend a bunch of money on me after I'm gone (but while I'm here is a different story) and being buried in a casket gives me the heebie jeebies. Cremation seemed like an affordable option until I'd tallied up the environmental costs.

I'd prefer to leave the planet without using a bunch more resources so I am saving up. Ideally, I'd love to be turned into compost and used in beautiful gardens and forests. If they choose to bury me, I'm asking for a mushroom suit.
